 At Affordable Fire Services we encourage our customers to have a spare Rotating Assembly in hand to ensure continuous reliability of operating fire pumps and ward off the risk of being exposed to higher costs. 

Indeed, when a Fire Pump breaks down it takes often a long period of time to receive the replacement, with high expenses by the property to rent a temporary fire pump that will keep the building safe and fully operating in accordance with the LAFD.

The most common fire pumps failures are: the packing rings, the bearings, the impeller and the wear rings, all parts of the Rotating Assembly. 

That is why we greatly suggest to always have a spare one.
