lafd REGULATION 4 & title 19 testing

 Reg 4 was created by the Los Angeles Fire Department to ensure proper functionality of buildings fire systems and equipment.  

Depending on the type of your building and its required Fire System, Reg 4 has to be done periodically: Fire sprinklers and Standpipe are tested every 5 years,  Fire Alarms, Fire Doors, Fire Escapes, Emergency Generators, Fire Pumps, Stored Electrical Energy and PRV need to be checked annually, while other systems may have to be tested twice a year.
